Booking & payment
How do I book?
Choose your dates in the calendar and send a booking request. Nothing is paid online: Rodica checks your dates, confirms by email, usually within a few hours, and sends the payment details.
What does the price include?
The price is for the whole apartment. Before you send the request you see every line: the nights, any discount, the cleaning or pet fee where they apply, and a small invoicing fee per booking.
Is there a stay tax?
Yes. Dizzasco's stay tax is €1 per guest aged 12 or over, per night, for the first 14 nights. It is paid on arrival and is not part of the total.
What is the cancellation policy?
Vista Panoramica: free cancellation until 5 days before check-in; after that, 50% of each night is refunded, except the first night. Mansarda Panoramica: free cancellation until 14 days before check-in, a 50% refund until 7 days before, and no refund after that.
Can we book both apartments?
Yes, for groups of up to 12: one request, the same dates for everyone, and a discount compared with booking them separately.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, it depends on the apartment and the season, and it is longer around Christmas and New Year. The calendar shows it as you pick your dates.
Arrival & the house
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 10:00. Rodica welcomes you in person, and you can leave your luggage if you arrive early or leave late.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking at the house.
Do we need a car?
A car is the easiest way; the last stretch up from Argegno is a steep, winding mountain road. Without a car: ASF buses run from Como to Argegno, and line C20 continues up to Dizzasco.
Is there air conditioning?
No. Portable fans are provided.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, in both apartments.
Who uses the pool?
The pool and the garden belong to the house: guests of both apartments use them.
Families & pets
How many guests can stay?
Up to 8 in Vista Panoramica, up to 4 in Mansarda Panoramica, and up to 12 when you book both. Infants don't count.
Is it good for children?
Yes. Vista Panoramica has a travel cot and a high chair on request; Mansarda Panoramica has a small room with two single beds, a high chair and window guards. Children aged 2 to 11 don't pay the stay tax.
Can we bring a pet?
In Mansarda Panoramica, one pet is welcome; a pet fee applies. Vista Panoramica doesn't accept pets, but service animals are welcome.
Getting here & the area
How far is Lake Como?
About 15 minutes by car down to Argegno, on the lake (2 km as the crow flies), and about 30 minutes to Como.
Which airports and stations are nearest?
Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate and Bergamo Orio al Serio, each roughly 1¼ to 1½ hours by car. By train, come to Como San Giovanni or Como Lago, then take the ASF bus to Argegno and line C20 up to Dizzasco.
